Attended Funeral options

At Quantock Funeral Directors we offer a choice of attended funerals.

Our most popular choice is our "Traditional Funeral" option. This can be fully tailored to your needs within it's price, and can be booked at any crematorium or church at any time of the day and provides you with everything you need to make the day perfect. Its all-inclusive price of £3,550 means no hidden charges or extra fee's from us. It includes orders of service, flowers minister fee's, and everything else you need. We also offer an "Intermate Early Service" option, priced at £1,995. This is suited to those who just want a small family gathering (crematorium allox a maximum of 20 mourners), and more simple service. Listen to some music, share some memories, but in a more intimate and low-key way. You may still have a service led by the funeral director, and the level of care you receive doesn't change, but by holding this more simple service at 9am or 9:30am at Taunton crematorium helps keeps the costs down. Although this option doesn't include flowers or orders of service, these can be added for additional costs if require, or can be provided by the family, offering that flexibility. Horse drawn carriages, and motorcycle hearse funerals are also popular options to honour someone's enthusiasm for the subject. We offer all-inclusive prices for both of these types too at £4,675. Full details can be found here for horses, and here for motorcycles.

We can also offer services and burials at woodland burial grounds, or natural burial grounds, such as Hackpen, Bradley Cottage and more. Having a service at these wonderful countryside facilities can be a fitting tribute to a nature loving person. The costs will be based on our Tradition Funeral option, but with slight adjustment to individual prices of each facility, plus the purchase of a grave (costs vary).
