An alternative and special location to hold a funeral service and wake at waterside barn, in Bradford-on-tone near Taunton.
This is a large venue in a beautiful countryside setting, where a funeral service can be held. With less time restrictions and more flexibility than a crematorium. After the service, family and friends can stay at Waterside and share memories at the wake in these peaceful surroundings, whilst we then conduct an un-attended cremation at Taunton crematorium.

A Waterside Funeral Service will include the following:
£4,595 all-inclusive
24 Hour Support and Advice.
Conveyance of your loved one to our private Chapel of Rests situated within our Staplegrove Office.
Care and Preparation of your loved one.
Chapel Of Rest available 24 Hours a Day 7 Days a week.
Dedicated Funeral Director to visit you at home or you can visit our office in Staplegrove Road, Taunton.
The use of a Hearse.
The use of a limousine to seat up to 7 Mourners taking them to the funeral service.
Four Pallbearers.
Oak Veneered Coffin (Upgrades available).
Cremation Fees.
Use of the venue afterewards for the wake
Minister or celebrant of your choice to conduct the service.
Coffin Spray or cross of your choosing (flowers).
Orders of Service (unlimited).
Online Obituary and Donation page.
Death announcement in the local paper.
Continued support after the funeral.
Catering would have to be booked by the client and paid for directly with the venue.
It would be possible to attend the committal, but this will incur extra costs due to the crematorium fee's. We can discuss this with you.
We would be happy to go through these items and answer any questions you may have regarding these or any additional disbursements. (i.e, extra flowers or items like photo slideshows, we also offer a full range of coffins from veneered to solid wood and also willow).
