Learn a bit about our team. All our team members are passionate about their roles in delivering the best service for our families, and all have their own unique interests, so enjoy reading a little bit about who our team are.
Dawn Jones - Funeral Director
Dawn began her career in the funeral care industry almost 20 years ago. She started as a funeral arranger in Poole, before becoming the Funeral Director of a woodlands burial ground site, and that is where she found her calling, and she has been passionate about funeral directing ever since.
She has a Level-4 BTEC Professional Diploma in Funeral Directing and you will often see her with her trademark black or coloured ribbons around her hat, to represent the deceased in a way personal to them.
In her spare time, Dawn loves to bake (much to the delight of the staff and clients!) but can also be found doing some more adventurous things like rock climbing, despite her fear of heights!
Robert Parker
Rob has been in the funeral care industry for a few years now, having joined at the start of the pandemic. He found that he enjoyed helping the families at their time of need, transporting and taking care of their loved ones behind the scenes, complimenting the front of house in the preparation for the actual funeral day. Rob now runs Quantock Funeral Directors along side Dawn.
When he's not in the office, Rob enjoys wild camping, caving and most outdoor adventures!
